2010 Charity Fundraisers

On Saturday, July 17th from 7  to 9pm, Tampa Bay BDPA will host a wine and cheese tasting fundraiser at the Tampa Museum of Photographic Arts in partnership with Wines for Humanities. Please register at www.TampaBDPAYouth.Eventbrite.com or contact Frank Shines at fpshines@gmail.com.

Winners of the 2010 High School Computer Competition charity fundraiser include the following ticket holders:

  • Foursome at Cheval Golf & Country Club goes to Chris with ticket #888675
  • Dining at Carrabass goes to Patrick with ticket #517382

During this charity raffle, a total of nearly $600 net profit was raised to defray the cost of travel and lodging costs of 3-4 high school students to travel for four days to the HS computer competition, set for July 28-31st in Philadelphia, PA.   Rhys Campbell, Lee Gibson and one to two other students will be representing Tampa at the national event.

2010 2nd Annual Computer Mentors - Charity Mentoring Golf Fundraiser

The  Computer Mentors Group Inc, (CMG) is pleased to announce that it will  host its 2nd Annual Charity Golf Mentoring Event on Saturday July 17, 2010.  This year’s event will be  hosted at Tampa’s historic Rogers Park located at 7911 N. 30th Street, Tampa, 33610.

The event  kicks off at 8am and will be followed by a silent auction and awards  luncheon.

Proceeds for the event will go to  support the Computer Mentors Youth programs which include the Youth  Computer Certification & Ownership Program and the Middle-School  Pre-Certification Program. Youth from the program will be on hand to greet and welcome the participants as well as host technology presentations for the event.

Come out and show support for this outstanding organization now in its 13th year of serving our youth, local families and the community.
